| This has got to be one of the most viewed films in the world, don't you think? It's a long time since I've watched it (I don't even know if my DVD version plays all the way through ), but it's very well done. Of course, the fact that it's b/w adds to the whole atmosphere. I was quite"shocked" at the number of awards it got, because it's so many. Having said that, I'm not really all that surprised, having seen the film. | |

| I agree that the fact that the film is in black and white enhances its atmosphere. I am reminded of a neighbour's little boy who thinks the world used to be black and white 'in the old days', because all the film he's seen was b/w | |

| My personal favourite. Based on my beloved book by Thomas Keneally, it's about my city, my history and about one of the most unusual miracles of the Second World War. I've watched this movie more than 20 times, so my comment on the film itself is unnecessary. I simply adore everything about it (especially Sir Ben as Stern). All my more important projects or even some exams in all my previous schools were devoted to "Schindler's List". During the last few years I spend a lot of time on photographing the areas and buildings of Cracow, where the actual historical events took place. I also have a plan to persuade the local authorities to create Oscar Schindler's Street somewhere in Cracow. I think Poland ows it to him. | |

It's nice to know. I also have a Jewish origin. | |

| I have it on DVD but have no idea whether it plays or not. I bought because such a great masterpiece at 10€ is something of a rare find! I must watch it sometime. I think it's important it was made. | |
