Driven by Isabel Coixets visually assured and deeply observant direction, Elegy charts the passionate relationship between a celebrated college professor and a young woman whose beauty both ravishes and destabilizes him. As their intimate connection transforms themmore than either could imaginea charged sexual contest evolves into an indelible love story. With humanistic warmth, wry wit and erotic intensity, Elegy explores the power of beauty to blind, to reveal and to transform. (from IMDB).

Kingsley's character: David Kepesh

Every time I look at a movie site recently, or watch the annoying Showbiz news bulletins, I have to read and hear about "The beautiful Penelope Cruz strips for Sir Ben Kingsley", and how lucky he is as he is 64... I think I might watch the film just to see what all the fuss is about! Mad

I'm really looking forward to seeing it, as I never had a chance to see Sir Ben playing a character involved in a romance. I've watched the trailer and in my opinion it looks very impressive.

I don't really like romance films but I watched a snippet of "Elegy" on YouTube and I think I just might watch this one. I'm curious as to how Sir Ben will be in this kind of role.
