| Not bad. One of my cousin's favourite films. It gave me a headache but the acting was great. But I still thought that something else could have been done with it. | |

| Actor SIR BEN KINGSLEY was so terrified by his character in SEXY BEAST, he became scared to look at his own face. The star, who played psychopathic villain Don Logan in the 2000 movie, admits the role frightened him, especially during a scene where he talks to himself in the mirror. He says, "It was very disconcerting to see the monster I'd created staring back at me. "The first time I did that sequence, I completely dried up. I was so scared of my own face."

| It's a specific kind of movie, didn't make me mad about it, but yes, I agree that the acting was excellent. I even thought of transcribing one of the significant dialogues for a task in my English Phonetics classes, but sadly the language was too strong. - Fagin wrote:

"The first time I did that sequence, I completely dried up. I was so scared of my own face." That's so amusing.

Yikes! I'm not in a hurry to see the movie again, but it's worth watching for the acting.

| Don't you guys think he has a kind of talent for portraying psychotic, unbalanced, and disturbed characters? He does it well. It's agood film, but not one of my favourites. | |
