What do you all think about Roman Polanski's films? A few nights ago, with some family members, we watched The Pianist, which they had never seen before. At the end, one of them said "oh, Roman Polanski. Well, I should have known!"... I don't quite know what they meant by that. I think his films are good. There's a lot of effort that goes into them. There are too many directors nowadays who go in for the special effects over the story line side, where as Roman pays a lot of attention to the plot, which, I think is the most important thing.

I like Polanksi's movies. Always a lot of detail to the smallest things, as you say, which can change lots, however insignificant they may be.

I am not a big lover of Roman Polanski's films. I saw only the Pianist and I don't like it. It is hard a little for me...
