Some people think that it's the whole "gandhi" and "schinlder's list" thing that have started it. By that, they mean to say that because he has been in some very good and ground-breaking films, he is often overrated and his talents exaggerated. Other people think that the amount of films he makes adds to the whole problem. The drama is based on Peter Hart's historical novel which charters one of the most famous battles in History, and one of the most important ones of WWI, as Germany and Great Britain fought for control of the North Sea. Personally I didn't think he did a good job of a presenter, as for example, he at one point held the microphone for one of his fellow presenters as they opened an enveloppe and he actually said "I'll hold your mic", and it just sounded so weird to actually say it.
